Description American Frontier Culture Foundation, Inc, (501 C 3) was formed in 1982 to accept contributions for building outdoor living history museum to commemorate contributions of common man to American Culture.

The Frontier Cultural Museum has the following Farms: American Farm, Scotch-Irish Farm, German Farm, English Farm and West Africa Farm (Igbo Farm). All the Farms except the Igbo Farm have all been completed and operational and are being run by contributions mostly from descendants from the respective Farms.

The West African Farm depicts the life of an Igbo Village in 1700 and is the latest Farm. Please use the following link to read about the contributions of the Ndiigbo of West Africa to the development of Virginia -

I am writing you now to ask for your endorsement and support. Please find below a pledge card. We know that your community will find this project essential for celebrating the Igbo culture and reproducing an 18th century West African farm of the Igbo people. It is our hope that you find this an exciting and crucial project for the preservation and honor of Igbo traditions. We are asking that pledges be paid in this calendar year and all payments are tax deductible. Please make your donation payable to American Frontier Culture Foundation, Inc. Attn: Igbo Farm.

If you would like additional information, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your consideration of our request to support this project. We ask for your confidence in our work to understand and teach others about the cultural influences of the Igbo people. We need your support to complete this exhibit and to maintain its prominence for future programming.

Additionally, I would like to extend again our invitation to join us at the Museum for the dedication and opening currently set for September 17-18, 2010. We are planning a celebration that will have the Igbo people and culture at its very center. We look forward to the occasion to recognize the incredible support we are receiving for this project. We would be grateful for your help in celebrating this significant achievement.
