YIBS Ensemble is an active theater company primarily, based in Rivers State Nigeria, which provides quality drama, music and dance presentations.

Apart from productions requiring further auditioning, the company is made up of twenty-five registered member.

Yibs started theater Education Support Programme in 1995 and has since collaborated with some proprietors of secondary schools in Rivers State in devising various theater based educational programmes.

It is as a result of this that we have embarked on a Community Theater development effort, with an approach on skills acquisition.

This is being done in collaboration with the Mankind Survival Project (M. S. P. ) a non governmental Youth Organisation in Rivers State, through our Entertainment - Education Theater, for teens and Pre-teens with aim towards promoting positive alternatives for young people by encouraging abstinence from drugs, alcohol, and sexual impropriety. The results has been encouraging and rewarding.

YIBS Ensemble is a registered member of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP) Rivers State Chapter.
