Mr. AGF Anaconda, stop telling us what we already know. "We know how woman dey get belle (pregnant), but how to care for the belle and the pickin is what we want to know".

All we are asking for is enforcement of the law. 'Sebi' na you be the primary law enforcer of the nation. If you know how dem dey steal money, then solve the problem.

And if you can't solve the problem, then get the hell out; you are not fit for the AGF position.

You and your ‘oga’ Yar'Adua only know rhetoric; you both don't know a damn thing. It's so amazing how we let 'mumus' like you and Yar'Adua lead us in this nation.

The problem is that you don’t seem to understand human beings. You always get it wrong.

Let me quote you here. First, you said “the desire is not to have Nigerians prosecuted but rather to make a just society where people will willingly obey law without being compelled.” Second, you also said “procurement and tender process is the grandmother of all corruption because people who don’t have the skill get contracts.”

There you go again making stupid statements as if you did not study psychology, sociology, human nature, human relations, and human interactions with one another, in law school.

Even a fool knows that humans, by nature, will not willingly obey laws without being compelled. Why do we have the judiciary in the first place, if we think human beings will willingly obey laws? Good things just don’t happen. You plan for it; you work at it; you implement it; you improve it when necessary. You do this over and over again to keep it at a good level.

There is one analogy that I draw about the human system to keep it working well; and it is not a one-shot deal. You have to maintain a constant control of the system; else it will fail the moment you don’t. It is like the lines on the road that keep everybody in their lane. It doesn’t matter if you have been driving on that road for 10, 20, 30 years, if those lines are removed for just a moment, you will see chaos.

We know in a human system, there can be no Utopia. There is no such ideally perfect society. But with adequate law enforcement and justice, you may be able to create a near just society but not a perfect one. So, I don’t know why “the desire is not to have Nigerians prosecuted”. Prosecuting is not a desire. Prosecuting is what you do to criminals in the society.

Nobody is saying you should prosecute innocent and law abiding Nigerians. But Nigerians who violate the laws must be prosecuted. That’s why Nigerians are mad at you and Yar’Adua when you failed to prosecute people like Ibori, Igbinedion, Orji Kalu, Dariye, Fayose, Tinubu, and a host of other crook governors.

If “procurement and tender process is the grandmother of all corruption,” like you said, what then is the grandfather? A ha! I got you on that one – LOL.

You also stated that 80% of corruption in public service, arise from contract over-inflation, etc.”

What this means to me is that we know where 80% of our corruption problem is coming from. That’s a majority. But it still astounds me that, with that knowledge of the source of corruption, we still don’t know how to solve the problem.

How could you know the major source of a problem and can’t even put a dent on its solution? We must have a group of idiots leading our nation.

But one statement that you, Mr. Anaconda, made in this article gave me a clue as to why you people in leadership don’t have the ability to deal with the problem of corruption in our country Nigeria.

You said, “procurement and tender process is the grandmother of all corruption because people who don’t have the skill get contracts.”

You are right about that. Likewise, people who don’t have the skills get or steal the contract to lead this nation full of very many smart people who have the skills, but have been scared off with violence.

It’s time to take back our country from these scare-crow politicians. Just like anyone else, they also only have one life and can lose that life or get hurt too. We cannot continue to be scaredy-cats.
