Nigeria's Super Eagles have dropped six places, to 21st place, in the latest FIFA ranking after the Super Eagles had moved seven places from 22nd to 15th place in the February 2010 FIFA rankings. In the report, Spain maintained its place in the number one spot followed Brazil and the Netherlands.
No African team was ranked in FIFA's top 15. Egypt, the Africa Cup of Nations winners, dropped seven places from 10th to 17th place but maintained their position as the highest ranked African team followed by Cameroon (20th), the Nigeria (21st) and then Côte d'Ivoire (22nd).
Thirty one friendly matches played in February were used to compute the rankings for March.
The new Super Eagles coach, Lars Lagerback, faces a big challenge to improve the Super Eagles rankings and ensure that they also have a successful outing at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. South Africa, the World Cup hosts, are ranked 16th in Africa and 81st worldwide.

our NFA arenot encouraging the citizen of the country, guess these should be a shamefull thing to them, My advice is that they should quit all of them from duty and employ coaches that a professional by field not bribing and corruption. Never the less, let the player abroad should base abroad while the younger ones should be given an opportunity. cos the young shall also grow.
