Falconets of Nigeria play Colombia in semi-finals of

For the first time in the history of their appearance at the Under-20 Women's World Cup, the Falconets of Nigeria are playing in the in a semi-final game. The Falconets are playing Colombia in a semi-final game and the winner of today's game will play either the winners of the match between Germany and South Korea in the final.

The wife of the President of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan, and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Magari, are reported to already be in Germany to support the Falconets.
