People say this government is slow, but we are not slow. We only think things properly before we act - President Jonathan
| December 27, 2012
President Goodluck Jonathan, at a Christmas Service held at the Cathedral Church of The Advent in Abuja spoke about the perception that his administration is slow in implementing policies and projects in Nigeria. He rejected the notion and said that government must think about things carefully before it acts. President Jonathan said, "By human thinking, our administration is slow, I won’t say we are slow but we need to think through things properly if we are to make lasting impact. If we rush we will make mistakes and sometimes it is more difficult to correct those mistakes." “I want to assure Nigerians that any step we take whether little or giant, we won’t go back. And where we need to act fast we will do so, that we demonstrated with the flood disaster because it required immediate response. Democracy must be dictated by ballot papers and I think we have achieved that with electoral reform. We will not go back but will continue to improve. He also spoke about the need to reform the Nigerian citizenry and asked the church to come up with programmes on how Nigerians can be reformed. “For our transformation to be sustained we Nigerians must be reformed. We must not see our country as where we make money only and build walls and live as prisoners because of the criminal activities of a few." “You can’t transform a country without the people being reformed. I call on the church to come up with programmes on how Nigerians can be reformed. People play politics with things that affect their own lives. That is why somebody will vandalise power equipment in order to ensure that power reform fails. Such people need to be reformed.” The president attended the church service with his family members and other top government officials.

i so much believe in your administration because you are the only president that has the future of this great Nation at hand but because the adamant nature of the citizens has made them so blind to see the potentials in you. I as a citizen of this great Nation still believe in you, I pray the Almighty God grants you the wisdom to conquer those who are oppressing your government.

Oh well, another garbage talk, from President "Rambler". So, we Nigerians are the problem now and we need to be reformed.

Ok, if you don't agree or believe that your government is slow, then stop beating about the bus and do something progressive. President Ebele "Rambler" Goodluck Jonathan, you are very slow. Just get the hell out of that position and let someone else take over.

I don't care if it is your thinking that's slow or your actions, slow is slow, and you are slow. We need a President tha's quick; Nigeria has a lot of problems.

Make hay while the sun shines.
