Bayo landed a nursing auxillary Gburu (job) in a Peckham nursing home and on his first shift was assigned to a white "Papa" who was a recent arrival who couldn't settle in due to loneliness.
Kind hearted Bayo gisted with the Papa for hours and was soon munching from a bowl of peanuts on the Papa's bed side table.
Bayo nak tory till closing time and Papa come say make Bayo kuku ma gather all the peanuts go home.
Back home Bayo bring out white gari and dry fish come take nak the epa.
Im and iyawo soak the gari together come dey watch Out of Bounds naija video.
Next day on the insistence of his wife Bayo went to work via Safeway department store to buy some fruits for the Papa as a kind of thank you and compensation for his epa.
On seeing the fruits the Papa smiled a toothless smile and said in his South London accent:
"shouldn't have bothered mate. Ever since I lost me dentures I haven't eaten any of those nuts. All I do is suck the chocolate off"
