Excerpts from parts I and II

Part I:

...The five other people looked on in utter and complete disbelief. They could not believe what they were seeing. There they were, all from the topmost agencies in the world, dealing with all aspects of science including metaphysics and supernatural phenomena. All were invited to listen to this speech given, in a Nigerian prison by a "specialist" (as they were told) on black-magic. ...How could they believe that in their wildest dreams they would sit and listen to such an eloquent speech--GIVEN BY A MONKEY!!!

....The psychiatrist crouched in the corner.

"Who who are you?"

Kubi turned to face the window. Kubi ran towards the window. Kubi jumped through the window. Kubi died of breath seizure before she hit the ground.

Part 2:

....The monkey took another sip and then continued it's

story: "All the while, being in Nigeria for only a week, I had encountered several situations which would, in the least, raise eyebrows. First the armed robbers and their miraculous getaway from the police; the mechanic who was supposedly shot and still eluded Dotun; the strange feeling I had at night of being held down while I slept... but none of these things could convince me of the validity or existence of juju on a scientific basis. I'm a doctor. I'm a scientist. I'm a psychiatrist, it's what I do. I can not be given to emotion or whims..."

....The road to Ife was bumpy, but the driver refused to slow down. "Near dis place is the hotel for arm robbers!" he almost shouted, every time Dotun or the psychiatrist asked him to slow down. The psychiatrist was, to no small end, uneasy at this point. The encounter with the old lady at the St. Andrew's church graveyard was not something he could forget easily.

She looked just like Bushirat, an older version, but she spoke to the psychiatrist in an unknown language. Yet he had a distinct feeling he understood what she told him. She kept calling him "Omo Oniranun." Dotun told him that meant "child of Oniranun." That name sounded vaguely familiar but he couldn’t remember where or if he’d heard it before.

...."O Lod of of Jacob! O lod of Moziz! O lod of Shedrac, Meshac, and Abedineeehgo! O Jizuz! Plis save me! Plis! I will prish the gospel all my life!" The driver was shaking as he shouted. The psychiatrist was even more uneasy now. He knew what he had seen. They had been driving for a while when the road all of a sudden smoothed out.

About 200 yards ahead they could see an old lady walking. The psychiatrist only made out a headtie from her back view. There was something familiar about her, even from that distance. Ten seconds later, even as the car sped at 80 kph, the lady seemed to be at the same distance ahead as she had been. Dotun was the first to say something: "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you...blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus."

The driver began to slow down, but the lady remained walking still the same distance ahead. 70 kph, she was still walking ahead... same distance. 60... still walking... 40... still walking. 30... she stopped and turned around. She still seemed to be 200 yards ahead. It had been almost two minutes since they had first spotted her. The driver screeched the car to a halt. She still stood, about 200 yards away. She began walking towards the car. Dotun, an erstwhile pagan soon found Jesus, and joined the driver in an inspiring praise session as the lady approached:
