Many of us don't realise that growing a relationship takes time and also a lot of effort and patience.
We seem to want everything to happen quickly and go on smoothly. But the truth is everything worthwhile takes time, and you will have to pass through trials and tests along the way.
In everything we do in life, we need to go through a lot of tests to bring out our best and relationships are no exception.
Think about it, when you want to go to the next stage in life, you often go through tests and it's only when you pass these tests that you move up.
It is the same with relationships; when you've developed to a certain stage, you need to move further and to be able to move further you've got to go through a series of tests. You will recognize these test as the quarrels and misunderstandings that come up.
But if we can just overcome them, we become closer and have a better understanding of each other. That's why when friends quarrel and make up, they tend to be a lot closer than before. You do recognise this don't you?
Unfortunately, many people fail to recognise "it" so when they get to this stage, they don't handle it properly and end up losing beautiful relationships. Some just simply back out, "I did not bargain for this" they usually say.
It is said that the darkest hour is the one before dawn, so also the best relationships must go through the worst tests.
You should never forget that the tests and trials you face are to eventually bring out the best in you.
