A Word Is Never Enough

Photo:Emotions It's funny you know, the way we human beings are.

No matter how much we know of something, no matter how hard we advice other people about it, when it comes to applying it to ourselves we never even get it right; it's like we don't even remember we advised someone on it.

If not so, why is it that no matter how many times we hear "you never know the value of what you have till you lose it" we still don't appreciate what we have when we have it? Please words are not enough show it by action.

Always, we do this and that's why its only when our parents, wives, lovers, or even husbands are gone that we realize they were so dear; or it's only when we leave school that we know how much fun school was or most importantly it's only when things become hard for us that we remember and appreciate GOD.

No matter what it is in life we never get to appreciate it at least as much as we should until it's gone and then we begin to feel really hurt about not appreciating it and hurt that it's gone. What's the next step-we try hard to get it back but given another opportunity we still won't appreciate it well enough. it's really a mystery to me why it happens like this and we all do it you know.

That's why at some point in our lives we all don't get appreciated too (what goes round does come round!). You don't expect your spouse, children, wife, lover, or whoever it is to appreciate you when you don't do the same to them.

If we can remember the hurt we feel when we're not appreciated it would be a lot easier for us to appreciate the blessings we have and the people we meet. It may take going an extra mile and a lot of discipline but we can consciously try to do it, it will go a long way in making our lives better.
