What really is friendship? What is that bond that silently pledges loyalty and dedication? That bond of trust and sincererity between people?
Friendship to a lot of people means unconditional loyalty. It means understanding and acceptance. It's not like it's blind to who you are, it just accepts you as you are and reacts to you accordingly.
Friendship is the best bond two people can probably have. That's why even when we're in a relationship with a guy or a girl, we're told to first be friends before anything else because any strong relationship must first be founded on friendship.
True friendship contains true love, you don't need to be with your friend every day to remain loyal to him or her. You don't even need to be physically there with him or her always. In fact some friends don't see one another for years but with the snap of a finger they are there when a friend needs them.
Friends have differences but it doesn't ever stop them from being friends. True friendship is a mutual thing based on trust and love.
In friendship there's no need for expressions of love like in relationships. The most important thing is the action, the show of trust, the show of dedication, the show of loyalty and the show of love, and understanding.
Friendship strengthens a relationship, whether between mother and child, husband and wife, or boss and employer; any relationship at all is strenghtened and made better by friendship!
