The Nigerian money scam seems to be on the large and practically nothing seems to be done by the Nigerian Government to eradicate this menace.

Please note this is a shame for this large nation of Africa.

Nigeria was once a very respected country in Africa. Now, most(correct me if I am wrong) of the people there seem to involved in one form of scam or another.

It is not only shameful but is sickening, disgusting and downright pathetic. It looks like the Nigerian money scam is an approved business by the Government of Nigeria however degrading it may be. I say this based on the endless number of scam letters and faxes we seem to be getting.

What shocks me is whether morality, spirituality, decency and the rule of law ever exists in the country.

There are people who claim to be Reverend Fathers, Heads of Government Departments etc etc who seem to be bold and outrageous in making claims about themselves.

They give their names and addresses so much so they can receive even courier mails. I would presume that when a courier mail is sent to a particular name say for example Rev Father James at a particular address then that recipient must be correct otherwise the mail cannot be delivered by international organisations like DHL.

• Isn't there any law enforcement agency there that can be ruthless in busting and eradicating crimes of this nature?

• Why on earth is this form of crime so prevalent in your country?

• Isn't there any other legitimate form of making a living?

• Isn't there any proper business activities that the rest of the world can be happy to associate with?

• Where are the intellectuals of Nigeria who graduate from Colleges and Universities?

  I am sure they can be of some asset to the people of Nigeria and the rest of the world.

Nigeria has huge natural resources which I am sure would be of tremendous benefit to the employment market of the country. Why then is all this neglected and instead give the impression to the people of the world that nothing else exists in the country and that the only form of survival is to cheat and deceive the peoples of the world?

If this is really so then I must say it is sad that more than 100 million people are living in the dark hole of hell located in the darkest hole of Africa!!

I feel truly sad that this has to exist amongst the human race.

Whatever it may be, you the people of Nigeria must act NOW without wasting a moment.

I would appreciate if the readers of this letter especially the Government, the Police and the relevant law enforcement agencies can act on this rampant crime immediately.

I would be pleased to provide some very important leads to these criminals.
