    The god of Jealousy

    Submitted By: Bethel Nwaogwugwu

    Jealousy,

    You can’t allow virtue to live
    Allow success to triumph over her success
    Let the victors go with their vanquished
    Let good sowers reap plentifully
    Allow those whose mascot bring luck to rejoice
    Bear not smiles of joy on your face
    Your mind a serpent on a green grass

    Jeez Jealousy!

    The green eyed monster that mocks its life fountain
    The suppressor of inventories
    Allow the early comers to a water trough fresh water
    Don't divest the hard earned honour of the victor
    The Karma of the legendary Macbeth and Brutus abounds
    Unlike the pleasures of the placid Cupid;
    You leave your victims with sorrow and sour heart.
