John "The Beloved" Ajewole in his own words
Hi and Hello,
My name is John Ajewole. I am a Christian. I strongly believe that God has a SPECIAL LOVE for me and thats why I call myself John "THE BELOVED" Ajewole . I haven't doubted His love since He came into my life.
By profession, I am an Engineer in the Electronics and Communications field. I am interested in Research and Development, mainly in the Manufacture and Design of Integrated Circuits and all its nitty gritty.
I'm presently looking for a scholarship so I could pursue a PhD in this field. One great wish I have for Nigeria is to see a Semiconductor Manufacturing Company being set up here - then I believe I have a career in the country. If you're interested, pls contact me
God created each person in a most-unique form. We each have a hidden talent, and unfortunately, some people never find theirs. I guess I found mine in poetry.
I began to put my poetry down on paper sometime when I was 15. I usually tore it up since I was the only one in the family interested in it and my "study first" parents thought it was a complete waste of time.
Writing poems was my usual pass-time at school during breaktime. Later on, one of my classmates saw what I once wrote (about the beauty of nature) and commended me on it. That was what made me to go buy a notebook where I kept them written and hidden. He even asked me to write on his behalf a poem he wanted to give a girl so he could do some toasting..... etc., but I declined.
Later on I read various poetry books to see how I could improve my poetry. Rhyming had been no problem to me since God-knows-when and I make sure I go around with a pen and a piece of paper just in case an idea comes rushing.
I had always wanted to know how to design a website for myself. My brother introduced me to NgEX! (sent me the website) and since then I began sending in my poems which I had been saving for years on numerous diskettes.
Thanks NgEX! for the opportunity.
I write on various things, whatever comes to mind: God, values, life, love, nature, the earth and its good and evil etc,.
I believe each individual was created in a most unique form and until each of us realizes this, we cannot appreciate our creator and find a true meaning to our own lives.
I hope you enjoy reading my poems.
Yours Poetically,
John "THE BELOVED" Ajewole ,
