    Belief

Submitted By: John "The Beloved" Ajewole

Belief in oneself starts with "I can do it".
Its the start of success, you'll have to admit.
Belief in self leads to a strong determination,
    Isn't quenched by discouragement's battallion.

Belief brings light in darkness, Hope in blankness,
Joy in sadness, strength in weakness,
Believing in you are and not in what you were,
"I can", not "may" is step one to being an achiever

The most important time is now, not tomorrow
Each day comes with it's own joys and sorrows
Believe in yourself. Nobody can do it better than you.
No one knows you like you do, not even a clue.

Loss of self belief is a highway to failure.
"Little by little" it starts, a kind of mellow tenor
Beginning in the mind, it comes in many kinds,
Unchecked, it'll bind and take you up in a wind.

Later as you grumble in despair's pit
Thinking why everything has come as counterfeits
At the end you find that no one is to blame
For your own potentials you did disclaim.
