Dear Mr. President,
You have come a long way-
again, our Asokoro resident.
I'm just a voice among billions,
Please, accept my congratulations,
My best wishes for you everyday:
more of God's grace to your elbows.
Dear Baba, Mr. President,
its another new beginning,
another ray of hope for this present,
and for the future coming,
an opportunity to make things better,
to do what has been left undone,
to undo the wrongs and perfect the rights.
Dear Sir, Mr. President,
there is a reproach called NEPA.
It is a failure, a total disaster,
a piece of dirt to be wiped away.
Sir, we must wake up,
to this menace called NEPA,
to put away what must be put away.
I can't understand that,
In the Federal Capital Territory
of the "GIANT OF AFRICA",
the seat of all its powers,
Power failure is a way of life
just when we need it most,
boom - NEPA resumes black out duty
its a shame, not just a mystery.
Please Privatize, please deregulate,
this thing called NEPA
from financing greedy Nigerian pockets,
who say it musn't be done.
A whole FCT
without electricity,
Please Baba, do something
this time, please do something.
