    In a Sad Phase?

Submitted By: John "The Beloved" Ajewole

Are you in a sad phase?
Are you running a tough race?
Are in keeping in the pace?
    Or are you pressing back-space?

Are you in a sad phase?
    Will you turn about-face?
    Would you the mountain brace?
Or you would halt at the base?

Are you in a sad phase?
Is your movement at a crawlspace?
    Are you using boldface?
Or would you accept a deface?

Are you in a sad phase?
Would you dare fly in aerospace?
Would you for once be an ace?
Or would you remain just a bootlace?

Are you in a sad phase?
    Would you manage a disgrace?
Would you settle for a crankcase?.
Or rather prefer a better replace?

Are you in a sad phase?
The best of you is not a briefcase
You may choose to be a nice bookcase
Or you may rather be the database.

    Hey you, cheer up.
Let a smile run around your face,
Around the corner is the lace.
