    A Question For The Lord

Submitted By: John "The Beloved" Ajewole

"Lord, what will thou have me to do?",
was Saul's question when he met the Lord,
after he had seen a light from heaven
-an encounter he will never forget.

Many know not why they are saved,
they know not what the Lord expects.
    Living the "mere-Christian Life" - well-behaved
they hope to make heaven with garments without a speck.

Seat warmers in Church on Sunday,
attendance beefers, they love to hear the pastor preach.
ever labouring for riches and goals in the world's own way,
the spiritual is quite far from their reach.

    With no vision, no mission,
they are deaf to God's still small voice
    following in the devil's direction,
in the end, they'll know they made a wrong choice

Lord, what wilt thou have me do
is what we all need to ask
for then, the father will reveal to us His will,
    His way and His time.

What will be better than to walk therein?
