Do you stand to look
At the blue sky
Before Asr?
Do you observe
The rain as it falls
Splashing on the sand
And the moon
As it gleams at earth
The wind commanding
The vegetation to bow
The sun burning hard
At noon
The stars twinkling up in the sky
Warm and cool rivers
That do not meet
Endless oceans and seas
Other planets we are yet to reach
Famine and floods
Earthquakes and storms
The freshness of summer
The whiteness in winter
The paleness of autumn
The brownness in spring
These are but signs of Allah
For those who are wise.
