It's night time now, they are off to their bed
She's tired and drowsy from a hard day's job,
He rubs her back and soothes her weary nerves
And spells out words of undying sweet love.
"Oh how wonderful a wife you are,
Oh what would I do without you?
Oh how I love you so, my darling sweet wife..."
She falls asleep before the serenade is over,
And he's out of the door before her head hits the pillows...
To his midnight rendezvouz at heaven-knows-where.
After 'sweet-wording' his lovely unsuspecting wife
With the usual dose of his 'soul-fool' serenade.
But who's the fool?
