    Lost Soul
    Submitted By: Nkiru Njoku

    Have you seen me?
You must know that I'm looking for me...
    I've looked uphill,
    Gone down hill,
    Climbed mountains,
    Scoured valleys,
    Swam rivers aplenty
    In this search for me.
    In retrospect I've almost seen it all;
    People and places,
    In this search for me.
    And after all this time,
    My search should've been over.
But not so my good friend,
For my search is still on.
    What nook, what cranny
    Do I try this time?
What alley could I be hiding in?
What wall might I be propped against?
I need to find me soon,
That I may go on living...
Lest my life be gone like smoke
Easily swept away by the breeze.
    Where am I?
