Rain and winds of passion
Stir the moon into action
Thoughts, wishes and love
Steer my spirit to the empyrean above
Fill thy chamber with lilac sweet
Lay thy bed with roses and velvet sheets
Let spouting fountains cool the air
And list the wren whistle in the moon-lit square
The past is gone for the present to dawn
Lets make each morrow a new morn
And now my gyves are to be broken
I throw the door of my soul open
And I shall mount above these clouds
To the altar where the angels fill with sounds
And from the heaven of truth and love
I shall see you soon, my love.
