The beginning of my steps
was at River Nun's ancestral banks
wherein mermaids bathe in the sun
and to wind flowers give their scent
and songs birds joyfully rhyme
and deer's water care freely lap.
This is my ancient cradle
whence Mingi IX was once lord
on the glorious shores of Nembe
where youth damsels worship
in the blossom'd moon's pride.
Here rainbows constantly sail the skies
in tune with rhymes ancient
assuring all of times immortality
as fauna and flora float in bliss'd harmony
bereft of foul strife,
for herein is life's birth
as the sun silvers water
reflecting souls' depths
in lands where eternal dreams live
