    Promise

    Submitted By: Peter Iyoha

    Thousand times you've promised
    Thousand times you failed.
Thousand times you claimed to be sorry
Thousand times you don't mean it.

When will you stop hurting me?
How will you stop looming me into unseen Illusion?
Where will I meet your promise kept?
What time will it be perfect?

My world is sick of your uprising missile
    Missile of tongue,
Yet defiling and raging with Lies
    You have lost your dignity.
    Your valor is empty,
    Redeem your image
    Sing another redemption song,
    Savor your prestige
Let your worth be yes. and doughty be no

Remember, promise is an awaiting canker worm
Waiting for the day it would eat up it's host
    Promise me now ever,
    Or promise me non ever,
    My wasteful debtor.
