Like a stranger in a strange place,
confusion is my best friend.
why do I like to stand and stare?
Everywhere I go, I see.
At whatever I see, I look.
but comprehension leaves me alone.
Just one puzzle in myriads,
what is my mind?
when I should cry,
my mouth will laugh away.
I am a mystery to myself,
my mind is in bondage.
I know but what do I know?
deep knowledge in a shallow mind,
dark and shapely,
bright but formless,
like the thoughts of a dead man,
destined to decompose.
