Janet disgraces Tolu

"I like Chinma and he likes me too".
Anyway, enough of Angel's story. Bisola moved in today? She told me she had a quarrel with her boyfriend Biodun.
This was the gist.
She said she didn't come back on Sunday because she went to a party with Biodun.
Around 6:00 pm Biodun started drinking heavily, She got upset at his drunken behaviour and scolded, him in front of his family.
Biodun's brother told her to take it easy on him.
Bisola, whose parents don't drink, believes that anyone who drinks excessively will become a wife beater or turn into a drunkard when times get tough.
She said on getting to his house later than night, she told him, they needed to talk about the evening. He sat up to talk. She then proceeded with a raking (ranting) and when she was done, she walked out on him.
"But, can you imagine, he didn't call me back!"
It was now around 11:00pm on Monday. We were at Education's quadrangle, this was where she was recounting this to me.
As she recounted the incident with Biodun, she dissolved into tears.
"Bisola, why are you crying? You were at fault and you just don't want to accept that fact"
"Accept what fact? That I chastised him about his drinking?"
No I replied. It was that you chastised or shouted at him in front of his family. Like you're in control of the relationship. You went too far.
"If you love him as you claim, you would go right now and plead for forgiveness," I said.
"God forbid! LaiLai! I'll rather die first! He has to come here and beg me before I will even consider talking to him"
"Till hell freezes over" I murmured to myself"
"What did you say?" she asked
"Never mind, I replied. Stop crying and let's go back to the hall"
"Honey, you don't understand. He met me pure. Can he ever return me to the way he found me?"
"You mean your virginity? Did he force you to give him?
You gave him willingly, so that part of him returning you whole is absurd or have you forgotten this secondary school saying "Virginity is like a balloon, a prick and it is gone".
"Oh Honey! What I've I done?" She burst into tears again.
I tried petting her as much as I could which took almost an hour before we went back to the hall.
We got to the hall around 1:00am.
Gosh! I was bone tired. I just hit the bed and slept off.
The next day, it was Tolu that started another round of show. She and a close friend Janet had a quarrel.
"I will blow your arse for the world to see, Shameless shit" Janet said.
Tolu was just sitting on the side of her bunk while Janet was raking outside the room, She wasn't talking. She was just watching the Television.
"Shameless prostitute, She aborted her pregnancy at five months", I took her there all for me to get this nonsense.
She was pregnant for this popular artist who kicked her out when she told him she was pregnant. After raising the money, we went to meet the doctor at Sango Otta. What if something had happened to her ehn? What would I have said to her parents ehn?. But because she was my friend. Oloshi!
I went with her only for us to come back and exactly a week later, she went back to spend a weekend with this same guy. Useless Fu@k!. She let out one of those long drawn out hisses that cuts right throught you.
This girl has been my downfall, guys call her all sort of rude names ranging from sh@t to dirty c*nt. They even say that her privates smell.
This fool now is telling me I'm a bad girl all because I told her to stop going out with Campus boys that they're the same Click and they'll continue to yap her.
I told her to go out with Aristos instead and because of this advice this idiot is insulting me.
"Calm down, Janet. Please calm down" I tried to calm her down.
She told me the story again all the sordid details and some other frankly, unbelievable ones.
I was upset with both of them. With Tolu for doing what she did. If she did them at all since she didn't defend herself anyway, and for Janet for being a loud blabbermouth.
Janet's shouting caused her to lose her voice and it took some physical strength to get her out of the corridor.
By this time, she'd been there for almost 90 minutes and girls had tuned our room into a museum and it still was not clear why the fight had started in the first place. It was unbelievable that a fight like this would start because Janet asked Tolu not to go out with campus boys.
Unfortunately for Bisola and Angel they missed it. But others including Debbie witnessed the disgrace of the century.
Of course we had to gist them, but it won't be as sweet as it was coming from Janet's mouth.
This semester is full of interesting events. I think I'm going to love this second semester.
Not up to two weeks after this event, Angel came to my bunk and told me she had something urgent to say.
She said she would choose a time where the room will almost be empty because it was a private talk.
"Honey, you know that it's been more than 2 weeks since I've been going out with Chinma, well you see he wants me to marry him"
"Don't be stupid, he can't be ready to settle down" I said
"He's serious she replied, he got me an engagement ring"
