Chapter 15
Seyi finds out about Tony

After showering she came back to tell me she was going to go and see Biodun, smiling I thought to myself,"We girls like posing and deceiving ourselves to much sha".
Not long after she left, Seyi came calling and since he was hungry I decided to cook something for him to eat.
I was, in the kitchen, frying the dodo he was going to eat with the rice when Angel burst in.
"Honey, Yawa don gas oh! (there was trouble)",
One anywork girl came into the room to ask of you, Seyi wanted to know who was asking after you and she told him it was one "uncle that brought a red Benz".
I guess you can figure that Tony is downstairs waiting for you and Seyi was not really happy on hearing.
"Why didn't you stop the girl before he asked her?" I asked her tersely.
"I didn't see the girl, I wasn't in the room"
"Then how did you find out?"
"When I came in with Chinma he asked me who Tony was?"
"What did you tell him?"
"I told him.......the dodo is burning".
I quickly turned it over but it was slightly burnt.
"I told him we met him through Debbie, that he's Debbie's uncle"
"Thank God, let me pretend that I don't know anything happend o".
Angel went back inside put up a good front and served him.
Seyi ate in silence. After he was finished, he said he was leaving. Of course, I knew something was up but, how angry was he? I offered to walk with him.
When we got to education he said he'd like to have a chat with me.
"Here we go, I thought to myself".
"Who is Tony?"
"Tony???.... I......
"Don't give me that crap, who the hell is Tony?" He said cutting me short.
"What is it? You asked me a question and I'm trying to recollect any Tony I know" I replied
"You know I hate lies, Angel already told you what happened I'm sure so stop pretending like you don't know what I'm talking about"
"I still don't understand what this raking is all about.
Anyway the only Tony I know of is Debbie's uncle and I don't know how that concerns you"
