A Haven From The Madness

The large house comprises of two sitting rooms - the visitor and family sitting rooms. We all preferred the family sitting room, due to its warm and cozy feeling.
The electronic gadgets are 'da bomb', DVD Player hooked up to a 50 inch Big Screen Television. The CD player was tapping as well.
The house boasts of six rooms. Not counting the study that was filled with all types of books from history to technology.
"Who is the avid reader of your house, or its is all 'efisi' ["translation: just for glamour?"] I asked.
"My pops oh! and it is all 'Efisi'" Sunday replied with a laugh.
We all had three of the six rooms to use. The boys in one, the girls in one and a couple in the last. "So which couple is it? " Bisola asked.
"The fast couple" Tayo replied with mischief
"That's if we get to sleep" Angel said.
The kitchen was clean but lacked foodstuffs and provisions. The guys offered to go out to get enough food for the couple of days we were likely to stay.
They left when they saw we were all settled.
They came back around an hour later. They brought lots of stuff and had also stopped for Ice-cream and Sharwama from Flavours at Onike.
We all sat down and watched films.
We first watched a horror film "Final Cut", then we watched "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", which had won Oscar's best foreign film award.
The film was tension soaked, each scene look us along, but men they defied law of gravity in that film sha.
We finally all fell asleep in the parlor with the television on.
