KaiKai's Reviews:

Starring Regina Askia, Liz Benson, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, Introducing Ibinabo Fiberesima

The story is about four young University graduates "failed" by the system. Unable to get work, Cleopatra (Regina Askia), Backside (Ayo Adesanya), Sparkle (Ibinabo Fiberesima) and Gini (a sorceress) turn to robbery (disguised as men) and deceit to survive.

We are subjected to slow, irrelevant, and unconvincing scenes before we are allowed to find out what the jobless girls are up to when they start their crime spree. Throughout the movie, the scenes are unmoving and they lack substance. The actresses deliver such poor performances with their phony accents and "American" slangs except Liz Benson who's delivery of her character was good. Unfortunately one person does not a movie make especially with a bad plot.

If the aim was to adapt the American movie Set It Off, at least the adaptor could have done so to suit the Nigerian reality.

There are some quality issues I can forgive for lack of equipment but overall I really have to pour san' san' inside dis garri because the movie sucks.

Let's just manage one bottle of kaikai.

One bottle of kaikai for a poorly conceived film.
