Starring Richard Mofe-Damijo as Pastor Voke, Bimbo Akintola as Adetutu Adigwe, and Steve Rhodes as Chief Eddie Adigwe.
Pastor Voke a young gifted man of God has everything going for him: good looks and a beautiful supportive wife, the power to perform miracles, and the trust of members of his congregation. Young troubled Tutu (Bimbo Akintola) is entrusted by her parents to Pastor Voke for counseling and support, and the man of God becomes overwhelmed by the now very worldly Tutu.
At the same time, Ada, a congregation member, is healed from sickle-cell anemia by Pastor Voke's prayers and finds herself needing to express her eternal gratefulness to Voke.
As the drama unfolds and Voke's world comes crashing down, his wife Alero remains understanding and deliberately aloof. But as the saying goes, "the last straw that broke the camel's back" forces Alero to leave Voke's side. Alone to deal with the error of his ways, Voke finds a new meaning to his life and forces everyone including his congregation and church committee members, to do the same.
A real story of forgiveness, well conceived and scripted by Richard Mofe-Damijo and Tade Ogidan (Director). This is by far one of the best Nigerian movies I have seen in the 90s.
